About the Role
We are seeking a talented and curious HR professional who values partnership, accountability, and meaningful impact. This is a hands-on, hospital-based HR Coordinator role for someone who wants to be close to the work- supporting caregivers, leaders, and operations; while partnering closely with our HR Shared Services team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate clerical and administrative functions of the Human Resources Department.
- Coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level.
- Partner with HR Shared Services for payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration support.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and leaders.
- Coordinate and support payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity.
- Drive and support talent acquisition efforts, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Act as the local subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Support employee relations needs.
- Contribute to building a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
- Contribute insights to shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite and HR-related computer applications.
- Exposure to a broad range of HR functions.
- Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS (preferred).
- Familiarity with benefit administration, basic HR functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.
- Detail-oriented with expertise in problem-solving, observation, group dynamics, and interpersonal relations.
