About the Role
The Host provides friendly customer and membership services and completes daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to deliver Fit4Less’ friendly, clean, and automated brand.
Responsibilities
- Perform and complete cleanliness tasks and duties to ensure safety and consistent cleanliness for members, associates, and prospective members.
- Clean and tidy according to cleanliness standards and inspection guidelines.
- Provide friendly customer interaction during cleanliness tasks on the workout floor.
- Contribute to an 'everybody cleans' mindset.
- Complete and review daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training.
- Inform and report deficiencies using standard guidelines to engage appropriate actions and resolutions.
- Provide friendly customer service following Fit4Less guidelines, processes, and procedures.
- Welcome members and guests warmly.
- Help and educate members and guests on memberships, amenities, automation, and processes.
- Promote black card amenities and memberships.
- Contribute to a courteous and friendly workplace environment.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities by set timelines.
- Complete and review daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, communications, and training.
- Inform and work with the manager for progress relating to customer service and escalation support.
- Address, inform, and report incidents of concern using standard process expectations.
- Sell and suggest memberships and provide assistance for membership management.
- Assist and provide appropriate club access, educating on automated and virtual options for member utilization.
Requirements
- High School diploma, or working toward completion.
- 1 year teamwork and/or volunteer experience.
- WHMIS Certification.
- First Aid, CPR-A & AED Certification.
- Ability to put a lot of effort into activities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stress.
- Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Ability to value time and use it effectively and efficiently.
