About the Role

This role involves scaling NexGen Cloud's internal IT environment by ensuring reliable operation of systems, tooling, and workflows. The IT Operations Manager will build automation, maintain access controls and configuration standards, and manage the Microsoft 365 environment, device fleet, and SaaS stack. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on maintaining operational processes and providing primary IT support.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), ensuring reliability, proper configuration, and documentation.
Manage the full lifecycle of the corporate device fleet across multiple office locations, including procurement, deployment, patching, and retirement.
Administer SaaS platforms (Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot), managing access, licensing, and integrations.
Develop and maintain workflow automation using Power Automate, specifically for IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
Provide primary IT support across all offices, resolving issues promptly and communicating with end users.
Collaborate with the Security Operations Engineer to implement and maintain access controls and configuration standards, and promptly escalate security-relevant events.
Manage IT vendors and procurement, ensuring SLA adherence, timely license renewals, and contract management.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
Solid experience with Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint-based workflow automation.
Experience managing a corporate device fleet across Windows and macOS using Intune or equivalent MDM.
Proficiency in SaaS administration, particularly Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Slack.
Experience supporting end users in multi-office or distributed environments.
Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to travel periodically between London and Marbella offices.
PowerShell or scripting experience for automation and administration tasks.
Familiarity with information security principles and collaboration with a security function.
Experience administering HubSpot or equivalent CRM platforms.
Microsoft certifications (M365 Fundamentals, Endpoint Administrator, or equivalent).
Background in a high-growth technology company or scale-up.
Spanish language skills.
