About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst I to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing complex datasets, with a strong emphasis on customer, to deliver tangible value and actionable insights to our stakeholders. This individual will embrace a data-driven culture, deeply learn the F5 business, and practice strong communication with cross-functional team members. By leveraging analytics methodologies, the Data Analyst I will help transform raw data into clear narratives that inform critical product, customer, and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses and deep dives into operational and telemetry data to answer critical business questions.
- Complete analytics tasks from start to finish, delivering measurable value and actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of structured and unstructured datasets, emphasizing high-volume telemetry data.
- Prepare clear findings and insights for colleagues, immediate managers, and project leaders.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to understand challenges and inform solutions to customer, product, and business problems.
- Collaborate with senior data analysts and managers to execute end-to-end analytics and reporting tasks.
- Work on assignments of limited scope using standard procedures under close supervision, receiving guidance and mentorship.
- Bring awareness to data quality, integrity, and accessibility issues, particularly within complex telemetry streams.
- Actively support efforts to address data quality issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong foundation in data collection, cleaning, and preparation.
- Specific interest or academic experience in analyzing system, product, or customer telemetry data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into clear stakeholder value.
- Familiarity with data analysis querying and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
- Ability to exercise judgment and initiative on problems of limited scope.
