About the Role
Partner with leadership to build and execute a tailored people agenda for an incubation-stage team, shaping hiring, development, and growth with direct influence from day one.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a tailored people strategy covering engagement, career development, manager capability, and workforce planning for the Consumer tribe.
- Adapt existing company-wide people programs, including leadership development and career frameworks, to fit the team's specific needs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage the hiring plan, including setting cadence, resolving issues, tracking metrics, and reporting progress.
- Serve as the trusted advisor for people decisions, supporting leaders with performance, development, and team health.
- Thoughtfully utilize AI tools to improve and scale key people processes, experimenting with new ways of working.
Requirements
- Deep experience as a People Partner or HRBP in a fast-growing organization, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing talent and performance management processes and career development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority.
- Comfort adapting company-wide programs to fit a smaller, fast-moving team, discerning when to follow existing playbooks or create new ones.
- Proactive in identifying people risks, with analytical thinking to support data-backed recommendations.
