About the Role

This role provides highly satisfactory service and assistance to guests, including bagging groceries, providing carry-out service, retrieving carts, performing bottle tasks, and janitorial duties. The position ensures the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store.

Responsibilities

• Use proper bagging supplies and techniques for guest purchases.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines, and maintain the bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts.
• Load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain familiarity with product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
• Know the location of products in the store.
• Perform cleaning duties and other assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• Perform tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
• Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Ability to work in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
• Ability to work in an environment with low to moderate noise levels.
• Travel requirements vary by assignment.
• Not able to sponsor work visas for this position.

Skills
