About the Role

This role is part of the Hematology and Urinalysis Product Management team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management. It provides upstream marketing support, collaborating with various global and technical teams to assess and communicate product strategy. The Senior Manager will lead product strategy and portfolio growth for Beckman Coulter’s Hematology and Urinalysis product lines, shaping long-term portfolio strategy, accelerating innovation, and delivering differentiated solutions for evolving laboratory needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and lifecycle management for assigned hematology and urinalysis products, from development through commercialization and growth.
  • Capture and translate Voice of Customer (VOC) and market insights to inform product design, roadmap priorities, and new product development.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities, support product positioning, and drive profitable market share.
  • Partner with R&D, program management, and cross-functional teams to guide product development and ensure solutions address customer needs.
  • Build relationships with industry Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and customers to strengthen market understanding and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to support successful product launches and portfolio growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or a related field, or MLS (ASCP) certification with 14+ years of relevant experience.
  • OR Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in presenting, engaging, and debating with L1 and industry executives, ensuring the best outcome for the business.
  • Experience leading new Product Development Products with risks and complexity.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, global/regional marketing, regulatory, clinical, quality, and operations.
  • Ability to develop and negotiate business and/or research agreements with legal representation and financial acumen to drive complex business and financial models.
  • Experience with hematology products and/or product management and/or IVD-regulated environment.
