About the Role

Senior UX Designers are crucial in executing these ideas, bringing creative thought and craft to develop and deliver solutions from brief to end-user, driven by technology to enhance human experiences. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior UX Designer to support a leading financial services brand, transforming how millions engage with their financial lives. This high-visibility engagement requires strong UX thinking, systems fluency, and thoughtful interaction design to impact real people at pivotal moments. This freelance role runs from June 15 through August 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of large and complex interaction systems, ensuring clarity and coherence in multi-step experiences
Develop and deliver high-fidelity wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma
Work with team members to develop and refine streamlined UX processes, setting new standards for quality and delivery
Proactively pursue opportunities to improve strategy and approach to better address client and user objectives
Define consumers, processes, and ideas from an objective, research-grounded viewpoint
Effectively communicate objective viewpoints to senior stakeholders on both agency and client sides
Lead and support designers across multiple projects, ensuring quality and consistency of team documentation and deliverables
Contribute to thought leadership activities within the UX and product design discipline
Assist and guide other designers in their professional development, fostering innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements

Solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered design principles across complex digital product ecosystems
Extensive experience in the creation, maintenance, and application of design systems, contributing to both UX and UI dimensions
Advanced proficiency in leveraging AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency across all stages of the UX lifecycle
Compelling portfolio of distinctive work showing product and service design, with clear evidence of strong UX craft and systems thinking across complex digital platforms

Skills

Expert-level command of Figma components, variants, auto layout, libraries, and prototyping capabilities
Ability to develop simple and elegant design solutions to complex design problems
Expert-level Figma skills
Strong proficiency with leading industry-standard UX design and prototyping tools
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to present and advocate for design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
Expertise in cross-functional collaboration across design, product, strategy, and engineering
Fosters progressive and limitless thinking
