About the Role

We offer opportunities for experienced Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) dedicated to providing exceptional care to seniors and fostering a warm, homelike atmosphere, making a difference in residents' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, promoting independence and respect.
  • Serve meals, assist with meal preparation, and promote proper nutrition and hydration, respecting resident choice.
  • Participate in and initiate leisure activities, encouraging resident socialization.
  • Maintain accurate records of leisure activities, incidents, observations, and resident condition changes.
  • Perform general housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond promptly to resident requests.
  • Track resident locations, ensure sign-out procedures are followed, and report missing residents.
  • Promote teamwork through positive co-worker interactions.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
  • Attend all required in-service training.
  • Actively participate in the community's emergency response team.

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Salary/Compensations

  • $18.00/hr
