About the Role

Responsible for transporting wheelchair or stretcher patients using an equipped vehicle and GPS system. May work independently or with a teammate based on assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage medical transportation operations in a company vehicle
  • Ensure safe patient transport from home to service location and back
  • Utilize company transportation software
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
  • Assume on-call responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with leadership
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness

Requirements

  • Valid State Driver's license
  • 3 years of professional driving experience
  • Clean driving record (no more than 1 point)
  • Ability to pass drug test and health screening (alcohol, TB skin test, TB chest x-ray)
  • Ability to pass a physical agility test
  • Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds
  • Fluency in speaking and understanding English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to drive to various locations
  • Professionalism
  • Ability to use apps and electronic devices

Skills

  • Bilingual language ability
  • Previous wheelchair transport experience

Experience Level

  • 3 years of professional driving experience

Salary/Compensations

  • Final pay rate determined by qualifications, experience, and performance
