About the Role
This role focuses on expanding relationships with customer cybersecurity teams by building deeper security expertise across existing account teams and the Security Business Unit. The strategist serves as a vital security resource for customers, partners, and team members, collaborating to solve business problems for large companies. Responsibilities include leveraging extensive cybersecurity experience to improve customer security posture using Citrix’s platform and guiding customers from problem discovery through solution development and implementation, including product enhancement requests.
Responsibilities
- Discuss security concerns and solutions with diverse technical audiences.
- Provide security guidance and strategy to sales teams.
- Assess Citrix security solutions for customer business needs.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Design and build multi-product proof of concept solutions and guide customer adoption.
- Overcome technical and competitive objections to advance sales and adoption.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for customer success.
- Stay current with security strategies to guide customers and shape product requirements.
- Develop relationships with key customer decision-makers.
- Contribute to technical sales team success with Citrix Platform and security solutions.
- Implement strategic goals set by leadership.
- Establish operational plans for product adoption and sales renewal.
- Provide input for new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.
- Improve existing processes and systems.
- Investigate root causes of problems.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors.

Requirements
- 5+ years of presales, sales engineering, solution engineering, field CTO, or consulting experience.
- 10+ years supporting, designing, or delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
- Familiarity with application security, browser security, IAM, and ZTNA.
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity solutions and design best practices.
- Ability to adapt technical presentations for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events.
- Mastery level knowledge of the job area.
- Deep knowledge of project management.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience (with University Degree or equivalent); or 8 years (with Master's degree); or 5 years (with PhD).
- Recognized mastery in professional discipline and customer-facing presentations.
