About the Role

Responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking products. Accountable for counting, inspecting products, reporting damages or discrepancies, and operating equipment safely and efficiently. Expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, and comply with all corporate and site policies. This is a temporary position with an expected end date of October 30th, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands
  • Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in appropriate areas
  • Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements
  • Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures
  • Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly
  • Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards
  • Report any damages or discrepancies
  • Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards
  • Operate equipment including, but not limited to, a pallet jack
  • Maintain equipment and report equipment problems
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and follow prescribed work methods
  • Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months (mild to moderate)
  • 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
  • Current or prior MHE certification

Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
