About the Role
This role drives the growth and performance of the Direct Mail channel across HelloFresh's Canadian brands: HelloFresh, Chefs Plate, and Factor. It is a hands-on position for someone who takes ownership, thinks numerically, and translates data into actionable growth strategies. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager, the specialist plans, executes, and optimizes Direct Mail acquisition campaigns to meet volume, CAC, ROI, and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include end-to-end campaign operations, from audience planning and creative coordination to vendor management, budgeting, forecasting, execution, reporting, and post-campaign analysis. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to enhance channel performance, scale successful initiatives, and identify new growth opportunities. This position is ideal for someone accountable for results, adept at problem-solving, and eager to directly influence customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, execution, optimization, and A/B testing of Direct Mail acquisition campaigns, focusing on CAC, ROI, conversion, volume, and channel efficiency.
- Support end-to-end campaign processes including strategy, audience selection, print production, vendor coordination, deployment, budget tracking, and performance analysis.
- Manage creative development workflows, including briefing, design review, copy review, and landing page coordination.
- Contribute to the Direct Mail testing roadmap for audiences, creative, formats, offers, and timing.
- Track, analyze, and present campaign performance insights to inform investment decisions, testing priorities, and channel strategy.
- Manage external vendor relationships (printers, agencies, data partners) to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective campaign delivery.
- Apply an AI-first approach to automate tasks, streamline operations, improve reporting, and enable higher-impact thinking.
- Manage key operational tasks: voucher creation, invoicing, cost tracking, campaign QA, and monthly targeting file preparation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual work, and scale the Direct Mail channel efficiently.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, consumer behavior, and offline marketing best practices.
- Support ad hoc Growth Marketing initiatives and special projects.
Requirements
- Ownership mindset, demonstrating initiative, follow-through, and accountability.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for managing large data sets, campaign trackers, budgets, and reporting files.
- Strong analytical skills with acquisition and performance marketing metrics (CAC, ROI, payback, conversion, budget tracking, campaign efficiency).
- Exceptional project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail for managing targeting files, creative QA, budgets, vendor timelines, and campaign execution.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach with energy, curiosity, and focus.

Experience Level
- 3+ years of professional experience in growth marketing, offline marketing, direct mail, print media, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or acquisition-focused roles.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required)
- BBA or BComm (preferred)
Salary/Compensations
- $60,000 - $67,000 CAD
