About the Role
Join Capstone Investment Advisors to upgrade our Enterprise Engineering capability, scaling and improving our technology platform. Partner directly with the business to deliver high-quality solutions and take ownership of meaningful work. The ideal candidate possesses strong engineering fundamentals, commercial curiosity, and a drive for continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Modernize, extend, and maintain BOSS, our proprietary back-office platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Own the end-to-end delivery process: partner with stakeholders, design solutions, and ship thoroughly tested code
- Build and architect new software to streamline and automate workflows across Operations, Treasury, Fund Accounting, IR, and Compliance
- Collaborate with engineers across the wider technology group, including front office, data, and AI teams, to tackle cross-cutting challenges
- Help drive the migration of legacy components to modern, maintainable standards
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Production-level Python and/or Java experience
- SQL fluency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
