Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks efficiently under Project Foreperson's direction.
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Analyze and interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications.
- Adhere to and uphold safety protocols to ensure employee safety.
- Perform additional duties as required under Project Foreperson's direction.
- Mentor and train apprentices.
Requirements
- Previous experience installing sheet metal in commercial, industrial, institutional, or healthcare projects.
- Red Seal trade qualification.
- Ability to work at heights with completed safety training.
- Safety-conscious individual adhering to all on-site safety measures.
- Strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Previous sheet metal experience in ICI or large-scale projects.
- Local 30 membership or member in good standing.
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Print reading.
- Strong understanding of schematic and isometric drawings.
- Mechanical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to mentor and aid junior apprentice development.

Salary/Compensations
- Hourly rate: $49.58
