About the Role

This role supports the end-to-end deal lifecycle within a designated sales territory, overseeing deal progress, ensuring timely execution, and acting as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders. The Account Support Executive drives the successful execution of strategic and complex deals, balancing compliance with customer needs. Regional expertise and attention to detail foster operational excellence, improve customer engagement, and ensure adherence to internal processes. As a trusted advisor, strong communication, problem-solving, and policy understanding enable guiding stakeholders through challenges, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track all deals (new and renewal) within the assigned territory, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with internal milestones.
  • Track customers’ procurement and invoicing requirements, including monitoring paperwork age, Access Extensions, purchase order processes, and operational exceptions.
  • Address account-level delinquencies by coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Engage with customers regarding contested renewals and title-related discussions, ensuring a responsive experience.
  • Support contract redlining and documentation for renewals and new business.
  • Maintain and update documentation of region-specific processes and requirements.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to structure and execute complex, high-value deals.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to internal controls, pricing policies, and approval processes.
  • Act as a central point of contact across departments, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of deal-related issues.
  • Apply critical thinking and policy knowledge to navigate challenges and propose practical, compliant solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve deal desk operations and streamline workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records of deal terms, approvals, and exceptions, and provide insights for business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, customer support, account coordination, or a similar administrative role.

Skills

  • Native fluency in Japanese and business-level fluency in English.
  • Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing models, and contract workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments and influence without authority.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with contracts, redlining, and documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), or other ERP tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working in a global or regional sales support environment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of invoicing processes, purchase order workflows, and sales processes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of legal and commercial terms in contracts (plus).
