About the Role

Responsible for the design, programming, graphics, commissioning, client training, warranties, preventative maintenance, energy management, operating cost reduction, service calls, and repairs for Building Automation Systems (BAS) across diverse client portfolios including commercial, residential, industrial, educational, retail, and municipal facilities. This role involves working on various tasks to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain client and team relationships, ensuring effective communication.
  • Program and create graphics for HVAC equipment via software, verifying system performance with minimal supervision.
  • Integrate building automation software with third-party systems using network connections.
  • Simulate sequences of operations to verify system operating parameters and performance using software.
  • Download software to controllers and perform on-site adjustments.
  • Test, inspect, and troubleshoot low-voltage power equipment, network communications, and system components during commissioning with minimal supervision.
  • Verify installation, commissioning, and operation of BAS-related electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Perform inspections, tests, adjustments, and evaluations of low voltage electronic components per manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilize technical manuals and instructions to calibrate electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Commission BAS systems, verify end-to-end functionality, and report/resolve anomalies.
  • Provide commissioning verification checklists to Project and BAS Managers.
  • Understand HVAC equipment, mechanical components, control strategies, and theories.
  • Assist in preparing project specifications and reports by collecting and compiling operational data.
  • Complete service reports and preventative maintenance checklists during site visits.

Salary/Compensations

  • $27.79 - $34.73 hourly
