About the Role
We are seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians to help maintain and support a fleet of self-driving vehicles for one of the world's most innovative autonomous ride-hailing companies. This unique opportunity combines automotive expertise with next-generation transportation technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet upgrades
- Configure and sign off vehicles for safe on-road operation
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain detailed service records and quality reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex vehicle issues
- Assist with parts inventory and shop organization
Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and diagnostics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Forklift certification (Cal/OSHA compliant) required
- Experience with CAN bus systems
- Experience reading wiring diagrams
- Experience with soldering and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience in EV, battery, research lab, or engineering environments
- Automotive trade school certificate or Associate Degree
