About the Role

This 3-month mandatory internship supports our team, with start dates on September 1, 2026; December 1, 2026; March 1, 2027; or June 1, 2027. The internship involves near full-time activity of 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials for press and public relations, including text and image research, proofreading, and translation.
  • Prepare press releases and press kits.
  • Organize events.
  • Support program work processes and cinema program development.
  • Communicate and interact with media partners and Arsenal guests.
  • Support public relations, including target group research and communication.
  • Support content creation for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Supervise evening events.

Requirements

  • Affinity for film culture.
  • Initial experience in cultural work.
  • Social media affinity and experience with various platforms.
  • Independence and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the Berlin media landscape is advantageous.
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
  • Internship must be a mandatory interim internship during studies.
