About the Role
The Janitorial Coordinator manages multiple locations and supervises assigned staff. Key responsibilities include customer relations, quality assurance, employee development, staffing, budget oversight, cost management, planning, problem-solving, and new service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage budget and program
- Ensure financial and quality performance for the assigned area
- Generate new work and coordinate with corporate sales and field leadership
- Complete and record all mandatory Quality Control site visits
- Provide coverage for custodians when necessary
- Coordinate special and periodic projects, ensuring customer signoff
- Recruit and train custodians
- Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, and evaluate custodian direct reports
- Coordinate with Human Resources on employee issues
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are on site and serviceable
- Ensure all store level safety and Human Resource compliance materials are posted
- Schedule all custodians
- Build outstanding customer relationships
- Communicate regularly, in person, with store level management
