About the Role
UK Global Account Management seeks a Global Team Leader to manage key global accounts based in the UK. This high-profile, fast-paced role requires confidence, resilience, and strong prioritization skills. The role involves driving performance, leading teams, and navigating complex challenges within important, high-performing accounts. The Global Team Leader will lead a team managing client programs, reporting to the Global Account Director, serving as a main point of contact for issue escalation and strategic coordination of top accounts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client satisfaction with service, team, and account management, aligning with brand objectives.
- Lead global strategy roadmaps across client accounts, ensuring team delivery against objectives.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for clients.
- Ensure best-in-class global service delivery and SLA adherence across all regions.
- Collaborate with the Global Account Director to maximize client GP through technology and innovation.
- Lead senior strategic meetings with clients, presenting to stakeholders on affiliate channel effectiveness.
- Implement best-in-class processes across client accounts.
- Ensure sufficient internal communication regarding all clients within the team.
- Take overall responsibility for team members and their performance.
- Take responsibility for the development of team members.
- Ensure free-flow of communication within the team.
- Ensure an appropriate working environment for team members.
- Provide an escalation point for team members.
- Nurture a dynamic team environment.
- Ensure effective delivery of good account management practices by team members.
- Provide feedback to the Global Account Director on team effectiveness, performance, and service quality.

Requirements
- 2+ years of affiliate marketing account management experience, focusing on blue-chip clients.
- Experience coordinating teams in projects and working practices.
- Relevant account management experience across multiple verticals (e.g., fashion, travel, telecoms).
Skills
- High level of industry knowledge and presence within the affiliate community.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Awin systems and their application for client needs.
- Excellent account management skills, including large campaign optimization.
- Strong affiliate marketing knowledge to present diverse campaign options for brand clients.
- Good understanding of network ethos to guide team account management.
- Understanding of Awin's USPs and competitive positioning in customer service.
- Leadership approach in managing Account Managers and junior team members.
