About the Role
This role is for a Product Manager within the ING Global Cloud tribe's Platform as a Service (PaaS) Area. The Global Cloud tribe builds and runs a private cloud infrastructure platform with multi-tenant, self-service, pay-per-use capabilities for application DevOps teams. The Product Manager provides internal DevOps teams with Global Platform services, sets technical strategy, and ensures solutions meet customer needs and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide clarity to the team with clear goals.
- Manage risk on the service/product.
- Manage the product delivery roadmap, aligning with stakeholders and customers across multiple locations.
- Own the product backlog, creating user stories and features with identified business value.
- Inform stakeholders on the Product Roadmap, feature delivery progress, and upcoming releases.
- Promote a clear, customer-focused product vision while maintaining standardized solutions.
- Participate in risk and portfolio wall meetings with other PaaS Product Managers to share progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with chapter leads to ensure the squad has the right people and performs well.
Requirements
- Energetic and proactive with a passion for IT and a "Do it-Try it-Fix it" mentality.
- Good understanding of Product management, Software Engineering, and engineering tools (e.g., CI/CD, SEM, monitoring tools).
- Natural team player, forming relationships based on social skills.
- Ability to switch context between engineers, auditors, and management.
- Experience building technical products or services.
- Experience as a Product Owner/Agile Business Analyst in an international, complex, technology-based agile environment.
- Experience in analysis, strong documentation skills, and ability to break down requirements into epics and user stories.
- Inspiring passion in presentations and stakeholder interactions.
- Basic understanding of technology languages and applications.
- Excellent command of English language.
