Responsibilities
- Responsible for area or shift, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and smooth operations in á la carte service and events up to 120 people.
- Lead service staff in daily business and during events, provide briefings, and maintain an overview.
- Plan daily and event schedules proactively, ensuring adequate staffing and timing.
- Order necessary goods promptly and securely via the inventory management system.
- Ensure professional service and reliable adherence to customer specifications and internal standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, stewarding, and event management.
- Prepare all essential mise-en-place tasks carefully for smooth operations.
- Competently, friendly, and independently advise and serve guests.
- Ensure quality and service standards at every event.
- Conscientiously and reliably manage cash register and billing.
- Maintain materials and equipment in good order and ready for use.
- Maintain close communication with supervisors.
- Actively contribute ideas to event offerings.
- Support inventories and month-end closing.
Requirements
- Successfully managed events for up to 150 people.
- Leadership experience and ability to guide service staff clearly, motivatingly, and confidently.
- Organized, maintain overview in intense event situations, and confident demeanor.
- Resilient, act independently, and enjoy teamwork.
- Clear, binding, and professional communication.
- Customer-oriented thinking with a good sense for quality and economic efficiency.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of food and beverages, ideally including wine.
- Basic IT skills and proficiency with digital systems.
- Knowledge of HACCP regulations and reliable implementation of standards.
- Good English skills for professional communication.
