About the Role
Optimize plant performance and maintenance activities by effectively managing a team of Maintenance Technicians and contract staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures for self, team, and contractors.
- Manage Maintenance Technicians to achieve safety, quality, and throughput standards.
- Collaborate with Packaging & Process Team Managers and senior engineers to prioritize activities for operational and maintenance needs.
- Plan, schedule, and agree daily/weekly workloads, including preventative, planned, and reactive activities.
- Manage planned and reactive E/I and mechanical maintenance activities, optimizing resources for high-quality repairs.
- Ensure regular communication with teams and individuals through meetings and briefings.
- Initiate and deliver continuous improvement (CI) and other projects to enhance plant reliability.
- Provide cost estimates for improvement projects, generate capital requests, and manage authorized project costs.
- Participate in RCM and RCA studies to establish and maintain optimal maintenance regimes.
- Administer and review SAP maintenance system for budgeting, historical trend, and reliability analysis.
- Plan and implement maintenance procedures, engineering standards, risk assessments, method statements, and SHEEQ systems.
Requirements
- Relevant maintenance experience in an automated continuous process environment.
- Multi-skilled across engineering trades.
- Experience with Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes.
- Experience leading and performance managing small teams.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental systems and procedures.
