About the Role
Provide expert H&S risk management, compliance, and advisory support across a UK Asset Services property portfolio of approximately 500 assets, including office, retail, and industrial sites. This role involves monitoring, assurance, audits, risk assessments, and incident management, while supporting the growth of internal and client-facing H&S consultancy. Collaborate with property and facilities teams, service partners, insurers, and senior stakeholders to drive compliance, improve performance, and embed a positive H&S culture. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role with significant impact across a diverse UK property portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Monitor H&S risk indicators and drive compliance across the UK portfolio.
- Review, investigate, and trend H&S incidents; implement improvement actions.
- Deliver on-site audits, risk assessments, and H&S consultancy services.
- Support development and continuous improvement of H&S and environmental management systems.
- Provide technical advice to high-risk service lines and senior stakeholders.
- Present H&S performance at service line and leadership meetings.
- Implement EMEAEHS strategy requirements across Asset Services UK.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property or facilities management H&S.
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and standards.
- IoSH member (CertIOSH preferred) with ongoing CPD.
- Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Construction experience desirable.
