About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful solutions within agile software delivery teams. Working closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders, you will transform complex challenges into clear, actionable insights that drive meaningful change. You will be embedded within a collaborative team environment, guiding decision-making, defining requirements, and ensuring solutions meet both user needs and strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to delivering secure, innovative capabilities in complex and often ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements in agile delivery environments.
- Support Product Owners in prioritizing and maintaining well-defined backlogs aligned to project goals.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions, and stakeholder engagement to clarify complex problems and drive decisions.
- Apply systems thinking to understand wider organizational impacts and improve processes, services, and technology.
- Evaluate delivered solutions to ensure they meet desired outcomes and recommend enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience working within agile software delivery teams, including writing and managing user stories or tickets.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or GitLab.
- Knowledge or experience within Defence, Security, or highly regulated environments is beneficial.
- Must be a UK national.
- Ability to gain and maintain appropriate UK Government security clearance (SC).
