About the Role
The NSW Ultrasound Applications Specialist provides technical and clinical support during the sales process, primarily for the Point of Care segment in NSW. This includes pre-sale product demonstrations, post-sale installation, training, and ongoing customer support for VENUE and Vscan ultrasound platforms. Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clinical leadership during the sales process.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver product training to customers.
- Monitor customer installations to improve satisfaction and maintain relationships.
- Improve customer satisfaction through education on equipment optimization.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences with product demonstrations and training.
- Assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
- Produce post-training reports and provide customer feedback.
- Facilitate team communication and best practice sharing.
- Provide clinical, technical, and professional guidance to enhance customer experience.
- Align application activities with sales needs and business objectives.
Requirements
- Active professional clinical/technical certifications/registries for scanning live patients.
- Demonstrated basic clinical scanning proficiencies on current products/platforms.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical/technical experience following certification with demonstrated clinical/technical skill in specific areas.
- At least 2 years commercial applications/modality experience with demonstrated successes in high-level customer interactions and sales scenarios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the specified geographic region and to nationwide sales meetings/tradeshows.
- Willingness to submit to a driving record check if operating a company vehicle.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the local language.
- Awareness and compliance with GEHC Quality Manual, QMS, QMP, Quality Goals, and applicable laws/regulations.
- Completion of all planned Quality & Compliance training.
- Ability to identify and report quality/compliance concerns and take corrective action.

- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound.
- Advanced certification/registries (desired).
