About the Role
Provide tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio, delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to a high standard. Adapt to diverse learning styles and course delivery methods, sharing expertise through marking assignments, supporting students, and addressing queries.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess across the Business School course portfolio.
- Teach and assess students in written and presentation skills, providing individual feedback.
- Assist in preparing assignments and assessments.
- Participate in course design and review.
- Act as an academic coach, discussing student problems, performance, and academic progression.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business and/or Management or professional qualifications.
- Teaching experience in a Higher Education setting or educational establishment.
- Flexibility to teach across various subjects.
- Punctual, professional, and committed to teaching.
- For Senior Lecturers: Fellowship of the HEA and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) or equivalent.
- For Senior Lecturers: Extensive relevant experience.
- For Senior Lecturers: Significant expertise in teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring, assessments, marking, and team leadership.
- Commitment to enroll in a PgCHE program within 12 months of passing probation if not already held or undertaking.

- Lecturer: £40,500 - £42,500
- Senior Lecturer: £49,000 - £54,000
