About the Role

Support Japan Business as a CAE engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Support CAE analysis requests from Japan customers.
  • Provide analysis results and solutions to win business.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to understand project requests.
  • Determine if CAE is the appropriate method to fulfill requests.
  • Collect necessary information and data.
  • Provide expected delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate SFDC data.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and transparent documentation on design work.
  • Present findings to customers as required.
  • Present and discuss confidently in seminars, project meetings, tech days, and road shows.
  • Address CAE data gaps and drive characterization with customer-facing, project program, and product line teams.
  • Differentiate CAE techniques and technical capabilities through continuous development of advanced technology.

Requirements

  • Excellent in structure simulation.
  • Excellent flow simulation experience on plastic products.
  • Good knowledge of plastic material, tooling, and processing.
  • Skilled in part design.
  • Experience in material testing and characterization (preferred).
  • Experience with Auto busbar application and thermal shock method test (a plus).
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to deliver within required timeframes.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good learner.
  • Teamwork player.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Good Japanese language skills (verbal and written).
