About the Role
Support Japan Business as a CAE engineer.
Responsibilities
- Support CAE analysis requests from Japan customers.
- Provide analysis results and solutions to win business.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to understand project requests.
- Determine if CAE is the appropriate method to fulfill requests.
- Collect necessary information and data.
- Provide expected delivery dates.
- Maintain accurate SFDC data.
- Provide accurate, complete, and transparent documentation on design work.
- Present findings to customers as required.
- Present and discuss confidently in seminars, project meetings, tech days, and road shows.
- Address CAE data gaps and drive characterization with customer-facing, project program, and product line teams.
- Differentiate CAE techniques and technical capabilities through continuous development of advanced technology.
Requirements
- Excellent in structure simulation.
- Excellent flow simulation experience on plastic products.
- Good knowledge of plastic material, tooling, and processing.
- Skilled in part design.
- Experience in material testing and characterization (preferred).
- Experience with Auto busbar application and thermal shock method test (a plus).
- Problem-solving ability.
- Sense of urgency and ability to deliver within required timeframes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good learner.
- Teamwork player.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good English language skills (verbal and written).
- Good Japanese language skills (verbal and written).
