About the Role

This hybrid role involves working as an analyst and data scientist on projects like credit acceptance, personalization, transaction categorization, and pricing. As an analyst, you will optimize product funnels, develop reports, design A/B tests, and generate business insights. As a data scientist, you will develop full modeling pipelines using tree-based approaches. You will collaborate with a skilled team, take ownership, and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Extract business insights from data
  • Be actively involved in the development of the full data science pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists
  • Work on credit acceptance modeling and funnel analysis
  • Develop complex reporting tools covering credit risk and collections funnels, including monitoring data quality and integrity
  • Develop propensity to buy models
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiment designs
  • Analyze test results using statistical methods to derive actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely

Requirements

  • Strong background in statistics
  • Experience building classifiers based on boosting algorithms
  • At least 4 years of experience in the financial sector
  • Domain knowledge in credit risk, collections, pricing, or marketing intelligence
