About the Role

Provide support to sector Transaction Managers, Head of Sector, and Chief Investment Officer, focusing on transaction coordination, execution, financial modelling for opportunities, and asset disposal.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve sector gross transaction budget and contribute to total capital transactions budget
  • Drive sale and leaseback transactional volume to contribute to transactional budget and increase portfolio WALE and income resilience
  • Develop meaningful engagement with Agents and Valuers to ensure understanding of current markets and pricing
  • Assist in evaluating potential property acquisitions nationally, relevant to sector
  • Coordinate and assist in presenting valuations process and outcomes to EPVC
  • Drive efficiency and manage risk through implementation of controls and process through transactions and valuation
  • Assist in coordination of transaction management, including consultant appointment, due diligence, deal risk identification and mitigation, analysis, negotiations, and achieving financial closure for acquisitions and divestments
  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of acquisition and divestment board papers and memorandums, including deal presentation with relevant Investment Committee(s) or Board(s)
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with agents and industry peers
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to assist the development team in pricing development opportunities
  • Assist with the valuation management process for group funds
  • Focus on ESG, including climate change adaptation assessment with all transactions
  • Work closely with alternate sector teams to drive continuous improvement across the Transaction platform
  • Build relationships and networking opportunities with agents and valuers in allocated markets
