About the Role
The Open TTD team builds and owns The Trade Desk’s integration portal, a platform that connects advertisers, data providers, and inventory sellers to our DSP ecosystem. We deliver user tailored experiences across three distinct audiences: Advertisers, Providers, and Sellers, each with tailored dashboards, technical documentation, self-service tooling, and onboarding flows. Our team operates across the full stack, from the public-facing marketing landing page through authenticated management experiences, building the infrastructure that enables TTD’s external partners to discover, integrate, and operate at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality, scalable web experiences within the Open TTD platform.
- Contribute to backend services and APIs powering the portal, including authentication, access control, search, documentation tools, and partner onboarding.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and partner engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
- Own features end-to-end, from scoping and design to implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
- Drive technical quality through design reviews, code reviews, and establishing scalable patterns and practices.
- Evolve OpenTTD's technical architecture to support new personas, embedded applications, and platform integrations.
Requirements
- Strong frontend and full-stack development skills with production experience building complex web applications, ideally large-scale portals or developer-facing platforms.
- Comfortable working across the stack: modern React-based frontends, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and backend services (e.g., C#).
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to reason about actionable trade-offs.
- Commitment to code quality and maintainability, writing understandable, testable, and evolvable code.
- Energized by ambiguity and defining solutions for high-visibility, greenfield initiatives.
