About the Role
Strengthen the Technical Advisory department in Berlin. This role is within the global Places business unit, focusing on creating, fostering, and optimizing intelligent, safe, and sustainable places for people to live, work, learn, and succeed. These places include homes, businesses, workplaces, schools, hospitals, and R&D facilities, designed to meet community needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of approximately 8-15 employees, both technically and disciplinarily.
- Advise and support clients on Technical Advisory / Transactional Services challenges.
- Assume responsibility for the quality, economic, technical, and timely aspects of offers, orders, and projects, including budgeting.
- Manage the deployment of team members and subcontractors.
- Collaborate across departments with other specialist areas.
- Cultivate and develop client relationships, actively engaging clients and acquiring follow-up projects.
- Independently find solutions.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Profound specialized knowledge and at least 5 years of professional experience in Technical Advisory, Transactional Services, or Technical Due Diligence.
- Experience in talent development and the ability to build effective teams and foster commitment.
- Goal-oriented, independent, committed, reliable, and flexible in thinking and acting.
- Confident and assertive demeanor with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm and motivational ability for team leadership.
- Business fluent German and English, written and spoken.
