Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute monthly HSE reports, presentations, and topics, providing employees with workplace injury statistics, new initiatives, and system changes.
  • Liaise with the HSE team and overall project team during project execution to ensure HSE standard implementation.
  • Ensure adequate distribution and communication of Health, Safety & welfare information from HSE, Legislative, and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and labor protection rules.
  • Verify and evaluate the effectiveness of the EPC Contractor’s HSE management system during project implementation.
  • Participate in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, Hazardous Area Classification, QRA) and monitor the implementation of identified non-compliances.
  • Monitor EPC Contractor's compliance with industrial safety, labor protection, and environmental protection requirements in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the PAD Contract.
  • Keep records of incidents and accidents according to Company procedure.
  • Immediately submit information regarding Contractor’s or EPC Contractor’s emergencies, natural disasters, accidents, incidents, fires, and fatal traffic accidents.
  • Provide support to Project and Operation teams on all safety, occupational health, and environmental issues.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring HSE compliance onshore and offshore and perform regular HSE audits in business and vessel operations.
  • Attend pre-job, planning, and client meetings on HSE related matters as required.
  • Provide department support on Company-wide HSE initiatives (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Assist with developing HSE plans compliant with Company policies, procedures, and client requirements.
  • Ensure permit to work process is implemented and all works are carried out with a valid permit.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ Engineering experience
  • Higher professional education (Degree) / Diploma in related discipline
  • Experience on the Client Side (preferable)
  • Experience in design stage
