About the Role
Investigate damage, failure, or distress in existing MEP systems, machinery, and equipment. Oversee all aspects of investigative projects, including client coordination, site visits, resource management, report writing, root cause analysis, building code review, and deadline management. The role requires an established client network and experience in building strong professional relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinate site visits, resources, and timelines to keep projects on track.
- Conduct site visits and testing to gather data across property types.
- Perform site visits and lab examinations to collect data on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Produce reports that combine inspection, testing, and analysis data to identify root cause and make recommendations on repair or replacement.
- Support regional growth through recruiting and business development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while generating new work.
- Partner with business development on conferences and client outreach.
- Review and interpret relevant building codes as necessary for issues about the scope of work.
- Oversee the development of repair or replacement design scope, as needed.
- Make independent decisions for projects including selection of analysis and testing methods and allocating resources relevant to the project.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active PE license.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.

- Proven ability to write comprehensive technical reports on inspection results.

Salary/Compensations
- $140,000 - 275,000 USD per year.
