About the Role
LSG Japan is seeking a Sr. Manager, Finance who will lead financial planning and analysis activities across the Japan business. This role will serve as a key finance business partner to the LSG Japan leadership team, providing financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and decision support to drive business performance. The position will be responsible for overseeing financial planning processes, delivering accurate and timely management reporting, and supporting strategic and operational decision-making. In addition, the role will collaborate closely with commercial and functional leaders to identify business opportunities, improve financial visibility, and ensure strong financial discipline across the organization. This position is critical to maintaining effective FP&A operations and supporting the continued success of LSG Japan.
Responsibilities
- Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR in a matrixed financial forecast
- Monitor and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, KPI's, CAPEX)
- Lead data analysis for the business, using complex data and problem solving
- Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics, identifying pertinent financial highlights to understand progress against strategic business plans
- Understand and deploy the best tools and methods to effectively communicate complex data and topics
- Develop high quality, effective presentations (engaging, motivating, concise, well-prepared)
- Identify, communicate, and lead risk and opportunities
- Build and develop a high performing team
Requirements
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience in progressive finance, including financial planning & analysis, reporting and analytics
- Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive finance, including financial planning & analysis, reporting and analytics
Skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong finance skills
- Proven understanding of Excel (financial models and analysis)
- Proven understanding of XX ERP (or equivalent)
- Proven understanding of PowerPoint
- Proven understanding of Hyperion
- Proficient verbal communication skills
