About the Role

Support a customer identity and access management (CIAM) transformation, migrating from Okta to Auth0. This role involves a complex, security-critical program focused on compliance, scalability, and customer experience, partnering across product, architecture, security, vendors, and delivery teams in a scaled agile environment. The priority is uplifting and migrating authentication experiences across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Establish Auth0 within the enterprise and support the transition to a modern, scalable CIAM platform.
  • Uplift individual member logins, including MFA.
  • Enable seamless single sign-on across digital services.
  • Ensure no disruption to the customer experience throughout the migration.
  • Conduct discovery and document current-state identity architecture, authentication flows, and customer journeys.
  • Support foundational delivery, including Auth0 capability setup, integration with digital services, and enabling individual member logins.
  • Define requirements for migration to Auth0, including replacing custom authentication flows and enabling SSO across products.
  • Define requirements for key uplifts such as MFA (including risk-based MFA) and bot protection.
  • Support development of the future-state Auth0 support model.
  • Contribute to vendor engagement activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and delivery assurance.
  • Support backlog creation, refinement, and readiness for agile delivery.
  • Capture and translate business needs into clear system requirements, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create end-to-end customer identity flows, business process maps, and rules.
  • Facilitate user story mapping to visualize journeys, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Develop high-quality business and technical user stories.
  • Manage an end-to-end requirements traceability approach.
  • Support vendor selection processes and validate delivery outputs.
  • Partner closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure requirements are implemented effectively.
  • Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Work with the Product Owner to refine backlog, decompose epics, and ensure Definition of Ready is met.
  • Maintain strong documentation of decisions, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve delivery efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on customer identity / CIAM projects.
  • Experience working on authentication or identity platform migrations (e.g., Okta, Auth0 or similar).
  • Strong experience mapping customer-facing authentication journeys (login, MFA, SSO across digital platforms).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed, structured system requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable working in Agile / scaled Agile environments within complex programs.

  • Up to $950 per day (inclusive of super)
