About the Role

Deliver high-quality, inclusive early childhood education and care as a Senior Educator. Plan and implement approved learning frameworks, create engaging experiences, build relationships with children and families, embrace diverse needs, and contribute to a welcoming center conveniently located near public transport.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality early learning programs tailored to individual child needs.
  • Deliver inclusive educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development for positive outcomes and program planning.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families, ensuring compliance with legislation and child-safe practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an early childhood education setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards
  • Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification
  • Sound understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs
  • Child protection training and commitment to child safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
