About the Role

At Anduril, we are developing multi-domain unmanned systems leveraging unsupervised autonomy for integrated multi-mission capability. These projects require Integration and Test Engineers with hands-on experience to deliver hardware-focused capabilities. Anduril I&T Engineers rapidly develop expertise to architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve next-generation capabilities throughout the product life-cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and specialists on AUV design, integration, and test efforts.
  • Support design and integration of AUV subsystems and components, including electrical systems and software.
  • Develop, build, and operate physical integration environments for system maturity.
  • Develop software for test automation and data analysis of hardware and software systems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot electrical and software integration issues.
  • Write, review, and execute test plans for AUV platforms and new capabilities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for AUV platform test operations, including pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis.
  • Support infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs.
  • Support nearshore and offshore testing, potentially up to 20% in the field.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in software, mechatronic, electrical, or systems engineering with a focus on integration and test.
  • Proficiency in software development for test automation and data analysis.
  • Strong experience with Linux, command line interfaces, and network debugging.
  • Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor integration, or robotics control concepts.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering and control theory concepts.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
  • Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems) is advantageous.
  • Experience with vehicle level testing (any domain) is advantageous.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
