About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organized Service Coordinator to promote engagement and retention in treatment, helping individuals successfully connect to the next level of care and move forward on their path to recovery. This role is critical in ensuring clients receive seamless, coordinated care throughout their time at SCADD, supporting daily operations across locations while focusing on the people served.

Responsibilities

Complete insurance verification, identify payment resources, and assess client eligibility for benefits.
Facilitate the medication self-administration process and ensure protocol compliance.
Ensure client medications are available and properly disposed of at discharge in programs without nursing departments, following protocol.
Manage medical, behavioral, emergency, or outside problems efficiently by maintaining a safe environment and notifying proper authorities.
Answer telephones, sort and distribute mail, and support day-to-day office operations.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as necessary.
Participate in new employee orientation and knowledge transfer for duty performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, external providers, clients, families, and community partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and group settings.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and respond to changing needs.
Ability to identify resources and minimize obstacles to support clients' long-term recovery.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
