About the Role

The Channel Sales Account Manager maximizes sales of Digital Media Solutions products and services through partners. This role directly manages major channel partners in Japan to maximize revenue by creating and executing new business opportunities. Collaborate with partners on proposal activities for their customers. This position is for individuals who thrive on building technical relationships with prospects and customers, driving sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability, and a strong customer focus. Candidates should enjoy partnering with customers, presenting and demonstrating Adobe solutions, and contributing to the Solution Consulting community.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business expansion with assigned strategic partners and achieve annual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop joint business plans with partners, driving pipeline generation, opportunity development, and sales forecast management.
  • Identify new business opportunities using Adobe solutions, accelerating upsell, cross-sell, and new customer acquisition.
  • Formulate renewal strategies for subscription licensing, manage renewal rates, and maximize revenue.
  • Build relationships with partners' sales organizations and executive leadership to develop and execute mid-to-long-term growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Adobe's internal stakeholders (Sales, Solution Consultants, Marketing) to create large-scale opportunities and close new and renewal deals.
  • Plan and execute partner-facing programs, enablement initiatives, and co-marketing activities to enhance sales capabilities and support market development.
  • Identify and develop emerging market opportunities in Digital Transformation, Digital Documents, and Generative AI, driving business growth through strategic partner collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of partner sales experience, or 3+ years of end-user selling experience.
  • Sales experience in the IT industry with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience selling software product solutions.
  • Proficient in Japanese.
  • Business-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and spoken communication.
