About the Role
Join MYOB as a Data Engineer to build and support reliable data flows, ensuring integrity, quality, accessibility, and visibility across the data landscape. Collaborate with a team of data engineers to improve methodologies and drive smarter decisions, helping teams contribute to the data platform through scalable solutions and data product builds. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support reliable, scalable data flows that are observable, governable, and aligned to evolving data standards.
- Prepare structured data and metadata for AI products and analytics, enabling insight across teams.
- Partner with engineers, developers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure data infrastructure meets business needs.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement to boost data engineering impact and capability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data solutions, technology tools, governance tools, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with engineering practices such as TDD, clean code, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Proven experience delivering reliable, efficient data infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across business, tech, and data teams.
- Solid understanding of data quality, consistency, and governance requirements.
- Ability to understand data needs across domains like finance, marketing, sales, customer, and product.
- Awareness of data needs for AI/ML and integration with MLOps tools and practices.
