About the Role
A Solution Architect focuses on industry-specific solutions, integrating Bentley products to solve complex business challenges end-to-end. This role involves understanding user requirements and designing comprehensive solutions aligned with business objectives. Solution Architects leverage deep technical and domain expertise to create customized proposals, present compelling demonstrations, articulate value propositions, and collaborate with sales teams to address user needs and secure new business.
Responsibilities
- Engage users and Enterprise Account Managers to align Bentley's product portfolio, architecture, and services with user objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand user requirements, challenges, and goals.
- Document technical solutions for account plans and contribute to account reviews.
- Develop solution architecture aligned with user needs, industry standards, and Bentley capabilities.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including account users, technology partners, and government entities.
- Lead technical workshops and training sessions for users and internal teams on enterprise systems integration.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Managers to define and prioritize product features based on user feedback and market trends.
- Evaluate and mitigate competitor advantages through proposed product enhancements or solutions.
- Drive industry trends through thought leadership and committee participation.
- Collaborate with Industry Solutions Marketing Teams to communicate Bentley's product portfolio to sophisticated audiences.
Requirements
- Strong functional knowledge of relevant Bentley transportation design software (Power User Level).
- Ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new complex products.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams, leveraging communication and project management.
