About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, join the leadership team to drive profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. Provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance. Collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies for business success and ensure operational support.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to impact business results and maximize profitability.
- Manage a designated division of responsibility (e.g., Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
- Manage store operations, systems, and technology, ensuring accountability.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and development efforts as needed.
- Partner with leadership to foster a collaborative working environment.
- Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
- Lead fit sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer connection.
- Innovate community engagement and loyalty-building events.
- Perform various sales floor roles as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail management experience.
- Passion for supporting the brand, customers, and teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends and industry developments.
- Ability to work collaboratively, with flexibility and courtesy.
- Ability to innovate, champion new ideas, navigate uncertainty, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch for product, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
