About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Support PR strategy development and execution aligned with brand objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, stylists, influencers, and external partners.
  • Lead the preparation and distribution of PR materials, including press releases, media kits, newsletters, and product information.
  • Coordinate media requests, interviews, and editorial opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Support the planning and execution of collection launches, brand events, press days, VIP events, and other PR activations.
  • Manage press sample inventory, loans, returns, and logistics for media placements, photoshoots, and events.
  • Oversee the maintenance of press rooms, digital assets, and PR databases, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR performance, preparing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and best practices.
  • Support budget tracking and manage administration, including invoice processing and expense reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective PR initiative execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in PR or communications.
  • Experience in media relations, event management, content creation, and social media (LINE).
  • Native level Japanese (business-level reading, writing, and conversational ability).
  • Business level English (proficient for global team communication, drafting English documents, and handling international media).

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation abilities.
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in basic PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital PR and social media.
  • High ethical standards and strong sense of responsibility.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving and autonomous action.

Experience Level

  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in PR or communications.
  • Experience in luxury, fashion, or lifestyle industries is a plus.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field).
