About the Role

This role focuses on transforming product strategy into shipped features for small and medium businesses in Germany. As part of the Genossenschaftliche Finanzgruppe Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, the company delivers AI-driven financial products at scale. The successful candidate will own the path from idea to release, working with product managers, engineers, and designers.

Responsibilities

• Turn product strategy into a prioritized roadmap, user stories, and shipped features
• Collaborate daily with product manager, lead engineer, engineers, and designer
• Own the path from idea to release
• Translate business goals into a prioritized roadmap, epics, and actionable user stories
• Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Prioritize the backlog and make trade-off decisions on scope versus timelines
• Propose solutions backed by industry research
• Prepare and run sprint planning and deep refinement sessions
• Manage the Jira board and ensure delivery visibility
• Solve daily questions with the lead engineer, engineers, and designer
• Define test cases and validate features before release
• Perform manual QA initially, then automate it incrementally
• Pull data with SQL and build necessary dashboards
• Define and track product metrics including KPIs, funnels, and retention
• Automate repetitive processes with AI and no-code tools for value creation

Requirements

• 2+ years as a Product Owner or in a similar product role in fintech
• Independent data work including SQL queries, dashboard building and maintenance, and product metrics definition and tracking
• Understanding of how AI products are built
• Experience with user research, A/B testing, and experimentation
• Understanding of APIs and system integration
• German language skills
• Experience with automation and no-code tools such as Zapier or n8n
