About the Role

Nestlé Canada Confectionery has an immediate opening to join the production team at our chocolate manufacturing plant in Toronto, Ontario. This is an 8-hour shift position with open availability, potentially including weekend work based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general production jobs involving repetitive bending, pushing, twisting, pulling, lifting, and machine operation.
  • Perform assigned cleaning duties, including equipment, facility, and washrooms.
  • Perform all duties safely, complying with safety, environmental, and quality policies, accident prevention, and compliance programs.
  • Work varied shifts; overtime may be required, including weekends.
  • Adhere to plant quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Credentials obtained outside of Canada require an evaluation for Canadian educational equivalence.
  • 1 to 3 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience (asset).
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Ability to understand and interpret job specifications and procedures.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, requiring minimal supervision.
