About the Role
This co-op opportunity within the Client Services team is for a 3rd or 4th-year post-secondary student specializing in Finance, Economics, or Business. The role involves applying academic knowledge in a dynamic, client-focused environment, providing exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. This 8-month co-op term runs from September 2026 to May 2027, with a hybrid work model requiring 4 days in-office per week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client account compliance through regulatory documentation.
- Provide administrative expertise and personalized client service.
- Execute non-financial client requests.
- Liaise with custodians and insurance carriers to fulfill client requests, escalating as needed to meet service level agreements.
- Maintain client data and perform data integrity checks.
- Provide backup support to team members.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities as organizational needs change.
Requirements
- Enrollment in 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Strong client service and client relations skills with prior experience.
- Experience or keen interest in the financial services industry.
- Experience with CRM databases, Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating strong organization, time management, prioritization, and adaptability.
Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
