About the Role
Seeking a hands-on PMO Lead for a major NZ Integration Program, focusing on strong governance and active delivery support. This role involves core PMO functions like financial management, RAID, governance, and executive reporting, with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset to identify risks, solve problems, and drive progress in a complex, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive program transparency and control, providing leaders with accurate delivery health views.
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Partner with delivery leads to unblock issues and maintain progress.
- Ensure financial discipline, aligning delivery with budget, forecasts, and funding.
- Lead RAID and change governance, managing impacts early.
- Translate complex delivery details into clear, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders.
- Improve delivery outcomes by challenging assumptions, connecting dependencies, and enabling better decisions.
- Adopt a hands-on, outcome-focused approach, actively supporting execution beyond reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hands-on PMO or delivery role within complex programs.
- Strong delivery mindset, understanding project execution and progress maintenance.
- Highly proactive and solutions-focused, with a track record of problem-solving.
- Confident managing financials, forecasting, and variance analysis in a program environment.
- Deep experience with RAID, governance, and change control processes.
- Strong ability to simplify complex information and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to add real value to delivery beyond administration.
