About the Role
The Cocktail Server provides a high-quality guest experience by taking drink orders, making recommendations, and processing payments, ensuring guest needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all beverages to guests.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company.
- Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards.
- Protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
- Properly set up floor and perform other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
- Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Report all breakage or damage of equipment.
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
- Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Clean and clear tables.
- Learn about food and beverages, such as wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
- Anticipate and accommodate guest needs while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Greet and welcome guests by offering a drink menu and providing information on any beverage specialties.
- Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
